Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to mark cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how Scientology education can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
